Carry the Extra Bag
On every hike or walk you were already taking, bring one extra bag and pack out what other people left behind.
What you'll need
- One sturdy bag stuffed in your pack
- Gloves or a grabber for the gross stuff
Pitfalls
- Skip anything sharp or biological — flag it for the park crew instead.
- Pack out the micro-trash too. Bottle caps and foil corners are what wildlife actually eats.
- Don't post about it. Do it because the trail was given to you clean, once.
