- A laundromat owner who says yes to one weeknight a month
- Rolls of quarters or a loaded card, plus detergent, dryer sheets, and pizza
- Four or five people who will sit and talk instead of hovering
What to say
We'd like to buy every load in your place one Tuesday a month. Same night, all year. Would that work for you?
Pitfalls
- Same night, same laundromat, every month. It only works once people expect you.
- Sit down and fold with them. Standing at the change machine handing out money is a different thing entirely.
- Learn names and use them next month. That's the whole point, not the quarters.
